Andrew Paul Nii Amu Darko, better addressed as Darkovibes, was born in Ghana on March 14, 1995. There is much information about his family.
After meeting and spending time with his friend and producer, Vacs, who was employed in a studio in Mallam, the musician truly found his calling in the music business.
They devote sufficient time to learning about music and various musical genres, such as rap. Darkovibes then decided to stand out from other musicians by producing songs that mixed Ga, Twi, English, and Pidgin. He encountered pushback from his mentors and peers because Twi and Ga are Ghanaian dialects.
He overcame all obstacles and remained steadfast in his decision; consequently, producer Magnom noticed him. Together, the two wrote a few songs for the MTN pulse campaign. He began attracting the interest of individuals like Ayigbe Edem, Joey B, and many others.
The performer has endured his fair share of suffering. Darkovibes remembers how, when he first started, he had been invited to perform on campus, but the event’s planners turned him down since they didn’t know him.
He also slept in a studio for three years to succeed in the music business. He avoided his loved ones while working long hours to support his family.
Darkovibes first worked with Vacs, a music producer, in 2012, who helped him establish himself as an artist and initially steer his musical career.

At Ghana’s yearly art and cultural event, “Chalewote,” in 2017, Darkovibes was one of a select group of artists chosen by Vogue Magazine UK to describe his style in music and fashion.
